In the run up to the launch of the PS4 Pro, gaming laptop companies and analysts have been arguing which of the current offerings could deliver the best performance for gamers.
Now, according to PCWorld, the answer has finally been determined: the Dell XPS 15.
The new laptop is the first gaming laptop that Dell has ever made available in its own brand name.
It features a 15.6-inch display, a 1TB hard drive and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics.
That’s not the only thing Dell has to offer, however.
The XPS line also includes a 12.1-inch 1080p display, two USB-C ports, a 4K webcam, and an HDMI output.
The display is the only one of the three that Dell says it’s shipping with a touchpad, meaning you can use it for touch-based tasks such as typing and gaming.
Dell also announced the new XPS 13 and XPS 12, but those laptops are priced significantly higher.
The Dell X100 and X100S will retail for $1,399 and $1,-499, respectively, and both of those laptops have the same 10-inch screen resolution as the XPS 11.
But the X100s is only shipping with the same Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor and 16GB of RAM, while the X10s is limited to 8GB of storage and a 1080p resolution.
The Dell XP15 is actually slightly more expensive than the XP11, at $1.2 million, but it’s also significantly more powerful.
The laptop’s base specs include an Intel Core M7-5500U processor, a 256GB SSD, and 8GB RAM.
Dell’s XPS models also support up to eight Thunderbolt 3 ports.
The laptops also come with a 13-inch glossy LED backlit display, 2TB of PCIe SSD storage, a dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, a fingerprint sensor, and a 5MP rear camera.
The XPS lineup is available starting today and will be available through November 23.
It comes with a two-year warranty, while Dell says the X1, X10, and Xps 15 will all be offered for a reduced price of $1 per month.
Dell did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
