You may be eligible for a $1.00 payment on your phone’s monthly phone plan if your carrier pays your bill.
You can claim the payment if your phone or tablet is covered under a federal law called the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
You must claim your payment before your bill goes to a customer service representative.
For example, if you’re using a smartphone that doesn’t qualify for a contract, you can claim on your contract the monthly phone and tablet fee.
But if you have a smartphone with a contract that is eligible for an early termination payment, you don’t have to claim the fee.
That payment is usually available after your bill has been paid.
The phone and the tablet payment The first step to getting your smartphone payment is to contact your carrier and request that your bill go to a Customer Service representative.
The company will give you an email that contains a list of eligible devices and their monthly phone bill payment amount.
The email also lists your carrier’s phone plan information and the total amount you’ll have to pay.
The carrier’s customer service will then give you a bill that includes your payment.
If you are eligible, your payment will be processed in about 24 hours.
If not, you will have to wait until the end of the billing cycle.
If your carrier is offering an early-termination payment, your phone and your tablet payment will go to your carrier within about four business days of your payment being received.
If the carrier hasn’t processed your payment by that date, you’ll receive a call to schedule a meeting.
If it hasn’t, you won’t receive a phone call or a letter.
If that’s the case, you must schedule a phone meeting with your carrier to get your payment, which can be done by calling 1-800-726-4455 or visiting your carrier website.

A refund to the carrier If you don.t get a phone and/or tablet payment within a few business days, you may be able to request a refund from your carrier.
